We are the Core Capabilities API Engineering team, dedicated to crafting reusable, enterprise-grade APIs that empower both internal and external product development teams to rapidly create and launch innovative real estate software.

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Engineer with a proven track record in developing cloud-native API applications using Node.js. Your expertise should extend to implementing automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline solutions. A solid grasp of Networking, Security, DevOps, and Git concepts is a must!

This role is more than just coding; it’s about collaboration, communication, and creating user-friendly documentation. We need someone with high energy and the ability to foster positive and open interactions within the team.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Design and deliver flexible, scalable, and resilient software solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to build modern, scalable systems.
  • Embrace an automation-first approach for product delivery and operational support.
  • Analyze, design, and validate solutions while efficiently driving towards completion.
  • Work closely with Product Teams to tackle complex challenges powering our apps.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, governing standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to team coding style and standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the broader organization to efficiently achieve team mission and goals.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, collaborators, and enterprise partners.
  • Embrace change and adopt new technologies in support of evolving business goals.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience as a code-contributing member of an Agile Development Team.
  • 3+ years as a Node.js developer building microservices and RESTful services.
  • 3+ years in developing cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, or Kubernetes, or equivalent Azure technologies.
  • 1+ years combined experience in AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
  • 2+ years in scripting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps, integrating with tools like Sonar, Contrast, etc.
  • Good knowledge of networking and security concepts.
  • Experience with the MEAN Stack is a plus: Angular, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB Atlas.
  • Experience with Python and Golang is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting/automation tools such as BASH/KSH/ZSH is a plus.
  • Demonstrable history of delivering solutions that provide business value.
  • Excellent analytical ability and logical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using GitLab and Atlassian in support of Agile delivery.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of technologies and quickly learn new technologies as needed.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation Range

Competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $165,000.
