Location: Falls Church, VA (remote within the DMV)

The Role: Tesla Government is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and build new features for our client-facing websites. We’re looking for a generalist who likes learning new technologies. You will get to work on a relatively new project with a modern microservice architecture using a tech stack that includes Java, Python, Typescript, Spring Boot, React, MySQL and AWS. Our agile team has daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint plannings, and weekly deployments.

Required Qualifications:

US Citizen and eligible for a security clearance

3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer

Computer science or related engineering degree from a 4-year university or equivalent work experience

Experience writing production code in a team setting

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Java web development, preferably with Spring Boot

Experience working with a modern Javascript framework, preferably React

Strong command of TypeScript

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity working in an IDE such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, NetBeans, and/or Visual Studio Code

Microservices or SOA experience

Strong Linux (terminal) skills

Strong SQL skills

At Tesla, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $80-120k
