The Gogo Business Aviation Test Automation Engineer will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of the vast array of products and services Gogo Business Aviation provides to its customers. The possibilities could range from testing a media server/entertainment system through testing business support systems.

Gogo – Test Automation Engineer – Indeed

How will you make a difference?

  • Test an application which uses big data and IoT for flight tracking and customization of inflight experience in real time
  • Test business system applications which support internal and external customers
  • Troubleshoot defects and code resolutions.
  • Contribute to highly innovate teams that work with a “Get it Done” work ethic.
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies as well as use “Agile” techniques to manage and complete user features

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 4-7 years of developing in a scripting language or Object-Oriented Development.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Groovy, Java, or Python
  • Basic computer networking knowledge
  • Working knowledge of standard web service protocols, such as REST and SOAP
  • Operational knowledge of Linux
  • Understanding of basic algorithms, data structure, and design patterns
  • Experience writing test cases and scenarios from requirements

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience running pre-existing automated tests for existing scenarios
  • Working knowledge of Docker
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic Agile environment
  • Has worked with Selenium, REST Assured, and Junit
  • Knowledge of AWS Lambda’s, Dynamo DB, S3, EC2, and ECS
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Concourse, Spinnaker)

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

92,000.00 – 115,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
