Cameras For Girls aims to address the issues surrounding the lack of empowerment, gender inequality and poverty across Africa by working with people endeavouring to become journalists and photographers in male-dominated spaces. They work with people who have either recently graduated from a Journalism and Communications program at the local university or are in the last year of studies. To get paid work, they must own a camera and know how to use it but many lack the resources to do so. CFG empowers these people with a camera to keep + a 4-phase photography and business skills training. This training is delivered both in-country and online.

They are looking for a VOLUNTEER Google Ads Grant Specialist.

Role Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Google Ads Grant Specialist to join our team on a volunteer basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Google Ads accounts, particularly within the Google Ad Grants program, and a passion for supporting non-profit initiatives. This role is critical in driving traffic to our website, increasing our online presence, and helping us reach our goals of empowering young women through photography.

Key Responsibilities: Google Ads Management: Manage and optimize our Google Ad Grants account to maximize ad spend and ensure compliance with Google Ad Grants policies. Develop and implement effective ad campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions on our website. Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities. Develop and refine keyword strategies to enhance ad performance and reach target audiences. Ad Copywriting & Design: Create compelling ad copy and design engaging visuals that align with our mission and attract our target audience. A/B test ad variations to determine the most effective messaging and creative elements. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on ad performance using Google Analytics and other tools. Provide regular updates and insights to the team on campaign success and areas for improvement. Collaboration & Support. Work closely with our marketing team to align Google Ads strategies with broader marketing goals. Offer guidance and support in understanding and leveraging Google Ads best practices.
