Disney – Software Engineer – TA/Project Hire – Indeed
What You Will Do
A Software Engineers in this group will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with attraction platforms and systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines. You will report to Team Lead, Platform / Attractions Systems.
This is a TA/Project Hire role.
Responsibilities
- You will develop or update several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages with a focus on front end and user experience.
- You will support the current generation of attraction messaging system.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in Python, JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience with at least one front-end framework (e.g., Angular, React, Vue).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and design.
- General scripting knowledge (batch, bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with Docker.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Design Patterns.
- Experience with revision control software, such as GitHub and GitLab.
