Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate or review requested text accurately and completely, ensuring the faithful transmission of meaning.
Demonstrate the ability to translate at a pace of 250 words per hour, 2,000 words per day, and 10,000 words per week.
Complete accepted jobs in alignment with project specifications and within the given deadline.
Format all individual document requests in accordance with the original.
Additional Employment Expectations:
Familiarity with Translation Memory software, such as Wordfast, MemoQ, SDL Trados, XTM, Across, Xbench, Déjà Vu, is an advantage.
All applicants will undergo an interview process, including possible sample translations, to assess language proficiency.
Qualifications & Criteria
2-3 years of translation experience.
University degree or higher, with additional experience in specialized fields considered an advantage.
Proficiency in using Internet software, Microsoft products, and excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and the target language.
