Job Title: Customer Support Representative (Remote)
Job Summary: As a Customer Support Representative at Aetna, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our members receive exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist customers with account-related questions, claims, benefits, and general inquiries
- Identify and escalate priority issues to appropriate channels for resolution
- Utilize company systems and resources to accurately document customer interactions and resolutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
- Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge to effectively address customer needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred

- Flexible schedule; evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of health insurance terminology and concepts preferred
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and databases simultaneously
