Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. This position requires 100% travel to various job sites across the southeast. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist carpenters and other skilled tradesmen with various tasks.
  • Load and unload construction materials and tools.
  • Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
  • Operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements:

 

  • Must be able to travel 100%
  • Must live within 1 hour of our corporate office in Gastonia, NC
  • Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (100%) and work at various job sites across the southeast.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
