Are you ready to be a part of a dynamic team and help maintain the integrity of user-generated content? Yelp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Content Moderator to focus on removing spam comments from our platform. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding our high standards for community-generated content, ensuring that our users can rely on Yelp for honest and reliable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and moderate user-generated content, with a primary focus on identifying and removing spam comments.
Utilize moderation tools and guidelines to evaluate the quality and authenticity of user reviews and comments.
Maintain a consistent and high level of moderation accuracy.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve moderation processes and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for content moderation.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and remove spam content effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with Yelp platform and a passion for the company mission.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Prior experience in content moderation is a plus but not required.
